Accepted Student Checklist

Accepted into the TruMACC Transition Program? The following steps will help you jumpstart the program. These steps are also outlined within TruView, your Truman student portal, under "Accepted Student."

Step 1

Set Up Your TruView Account

As a new TruMACC student, you will need to set up your TruView account. TruView provides you with 24-hour access to everything Truman. Use the link below and the information provided in your application portal (Username and Banner ID) to set up your account. If you are having issues setting up your account, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (660) 785-4544.

Step 2

Set Up Your MyMACC Account

If you are a new freshmen and not already attending MACC, you will need to set up your MyMACC account. This portal provides you with 24-hour access to everything MACC. To view your personalized information, you must log in above using your MACC Student ID Number and college issued password. If you are unsure of your account information, please contact the MACC Help Desk at (660) 263-4100 x11555.

Step 3

Enroll with Your TruMACC Advisors

FIRST, you should first meet with your academic advisor from MACC to create a course schedule. See the contact information above for MACC. SECOND, once you have enrolled in MACC courses, you should then contact Marianna Giovannini from Truman State to schedule an advising appointment. See the contact information above for Marianna.

Consortium Agreement

If you plan to utilize financial aid such as FAFSA at both MACC and TSU, you will need to complete the consortium agreement through MACC's Financial Aid Office. Once completed, MACC will share this information with TSU's Financial Aid Office.

Step 5

Complete the Housing Application

As part of TruMACC, you can live on-campus in Truman's residence halls and get a dining plan. If you're planning to live on-campus, complete the housing application for new students and make your housing deposit of $150 ($125 refundable prior to May 1).

Sign Up for Orientation

TruMACC students are required to attend Truman's Summer Orientation. You can attend any session, but we recommend the August Session for current students attending MACC.

Step 7 (optional)

Get Your Parking Decal

Student planning to bring a car to campus can purchase a parking decal through the Department of Public Safety (DPS). Students living on-campus should get a Resident (green) decal, while commuters should get a Commuter (blue) decal.

Attend Truman Week

Truman Week is a time for new students to acclimate to and celebrate their entry to Truman! New freshmen in the TruMACC program are required to attend while students already attending MACC are not required but highly encouraged to attend and get a lay of the land at Truman.
